Behind The Volt reimagined night golf for the opening event of the 2026 season at LIV Golf Riyadh, transforming the championship course at Riyadh Golf Club into a unified, cinematic entertainment environment. Our role spanned technical and scenography consultancy through to full delivery of a large-scale night-time show – integrating lighting, lasers, projection, water effects, LED surfaces, and networks into a single visual language. The result was a bold evolution from 2025 and a new global benchmark for golf presentation.
Key Highlights
- Unified Scenographic Vision: Designed a cohesive visual ecosystem where architectural lighting, high-focus beams, lasers, projection, water effects, and LED surfaces operated as one.
- Course-Wide Transformation: Activated tee boxes, lakes, fairways, and the fan village with over 1,300 lighting, laser, and SFX fixtures, alongside anamorphic LED content and IPTV infrastructure.
- Prestige Beam Integration: Deployed state-of-the-art KVANT Prestige Beam 600 fixtures to create ultra-collimated aerial architecture, delivering sculpted beams visible for kilometres without sky wash.
- Signature Arrival & Fan Moments: Created “The Line” laser tunnel entrance, immersive fan village shows, DJ moments, and VIP laser logo installations.
- Immersive Content Production: Delivered anamorphic fan village screen content for half-hourly shows, synced with laser mapping and SFX, plus a tunnel entrance experience featuring 3D motion graphics.
- Iconic Show Moments: Delivered a fully timecoded shotgun start combining lasers, light, water screens, fountains, music, and video – transitioning seamlessly into live broadcast play.
Impact: Set a new global benchmark for night-time golf – elevating the broadcast aesthetic, amplifying fan energy, and proving how laser-led scenography can redefine live sport at scale.
